Oaklands Park Community Garden & Orchard, Chichester

Well worth a visit - just behind Chichester Festival Theatre. A community orchard of heritage varieties in a wildflower garden. Click picture to find out more.

Beautiful town garden with mature planting including raised beds, meandering paths and a few friendly statues along the way.

Stockbridge Gardens – Saturday 29th June

Boasting a micro climate of tropical plants, banana tree, kiwi, pineapple plants, olive tree, acer palms and ferns.

Hoe Cottage – Saturday 20th July

£3.50 entry, 2 - 5 pm X

Stunning garden on an undulating site with mature trees and shrubs including a sunny gravel area with a mixture of grasses for sitting on. Shady paths lead through to a spectacular pond and waterfall.

Westhampnett Walkabout – Sunday 21st July

3 Bayleaf Cottages, Stane Street, Westhampnett,

PO18 0NT - £5 entry to all five gardens, 2 - 5 pm X

Five styles of gardens all close to each other. Wide range of flora from different regions with hundreds of species on display. Bayleaf House, Flêurie House, Langley House, The Old School and The Cottage.

Charming garden with a nautical theme. Potted plants adorn the deck; small pond with roped bridge; planter lovingly converted from a dingy is a wonderful highlight.

Cream teas and plants available for purchase.

Cokes Farm – Sunday 4th August

Two neighbouring and very different gardens, one a large simple country garden with a no-dig vegetable patch and the other an elegant patio garden.

Child-friendly swings, slides and tree house.
